Time is a great song in my opinion. This song represents how time goes by so fast, and not very many people realize that it's slipping away. It really has a good meaning because it kind of makes people sit back and think about what they want to do. You have to live each day to the fullest, because you never know what the next day is going to bring.

This song also says "Waiting for someone or something to show you the way." What Roger was saying when he wrote this song is that you can't wait around for someone else to tell you what to do, you have to do it yourself. I really like this song because it has a good meaning and it makes you think about your choices in life. (:

Hey Jude by The Beatles

Paul McCartney wrote this song as "Hey Jules" for John Lennon's son Julian. His parents were getting a divorce and Paul felt bad. The "Jude" change was inspired by "Jud" off the musical Oklahoma. This song is really inspirational in my opinion because it was written for a good reason, and with good intentions.

I personally like this song because it has a good beat, and a nice flow. Even there aren't many words in this song it is really long because of how slow and smooth it is sung. Hey Jude is a really good song to listen to if you want a pick me up kind of song that sends a good message. This is my favorite song from The Beatles and is pretty much one of my favorite songs period.

Old Time Rock and Roll by Bob Seger

There isn't really an official meaning to this song, which makes me kind of sad. Seger's main intention in this song was to have a fun song that everyone would enjoy. With this one, he really hit a home run! I think this song is super fun to listen to, and it really makes a person want to dance.

This song is a classic, and is featured in the movie Risky Business where Tom Cruise is featured dancing in his undies, black old style shades, and a white button up shirt. A lot of people recognize this song as being charismatic and funky. Seger really showed how to take a pointless song and show everyone how much fun you can have with it!

November Rain by Guns N' Roses

This song is based on a story that Del James wrote, called Without You. The original song was about 25 minutes long. Later the song was revised and is now only 8 minutes and 59 seconds. Slash has a 2 minute guitar solo in this song as well.

"November Rain" describes a drugged up, drunk musician who is reminiscing about his relationship. The song is seen through his former girlfriend's eyes, though. The lyrics are a former girlfriend saying how troubled times (November rains) won't last forever and that when he comes back she will still be there waiting for him.

I chose this song because I really like listening to songs with deep meanings. The lyrics of this song send out a strong message about relationships and tough times, and not only that, but I really love Guns N' Roses.
